Sometimes we all just need the space and time dedicated to stop worrying about the ever-growing to do list and reflect on our teaching.
This year’s IPAL Information Literacy (IL) Interest Group session will focus on just that. There will be different Conversation Circles where you can choose between groups talking about strategies you use to reflect about information literacy instruction, lesson planning, ways to manage and develop instruction materials, what happens when you are partnered with a faculty member who is reluctant about IL integration into their courses, and strategies for reaching distance learners. Can’t pick just one? (Me too!) We’ll have opportunities to rotate between different groups of your choosing!
We’re also bringing back Solution or Sympathy, because sometimes we need a solution to a problem and other times we just need to know we’re not the only ones experiencing it!
And throughout the day there will be opportunities for networking and sharing ideas about topics not listed above. The deadline for registration is TODAY, MAY 10 make sure to register Here.
We hope to see you there!
