IPAL Conference

The Spring IPAL Conference is coming up! Join us on Thursday May 19th at Grand View University Student Center. The conference theme this year is: Anything Goes: Library Initiatives Across Campus and Beyond. The afternoon of the conference will feature a series of Lightning Rounds followed by roundtable discussions.

Conference registration can be found in the Conferences tab. Please send the registration forms to Mary Anne Knefel by May 6th. Be sure to share these documents with your full library staff.

If you have tried something new or exciting at your library or on campus lately, have any tips or experiences you would like to share with your colleagues, or have advice on how to implement or manage new initiatives, you should consider leading a lightning round.

The IPAL Steering Committee is seeking proposals for Lightning Rounds (5-6 minute presentations) which will also serve as frameworks for round table discussions during the afternoon of the conference. If you have something to share, please email the proposal form to Pam Rees. Deadline for proposals is April 22nd. Please make sure all staff and librarians know!

We look forward to seeing all of you on May 19th!
